Lincoln HVAC Services
Lincoln’s commercial economy spans public sector, higher education, food production, engineering and retail, alongside a significant heritage and tourism sector. That range of building types and uses creates varied HVAC requirements, and Climatix Group covers the full spectrum — from planned maintenance contracts through to full mechanical installations across Lincoln and the wider county.
HVAC Maintenance
We structure planned preventative maintenance contracts for commercial HVAC systems across Lincoln and Lincolnshire around the specific systems on your site, scheduling inspections, filter changes, refrigerant checks and performance testing at intervals that keep your equipment in good order and your compliance documentation current.
Lincoln’s spread of building types — from food production facilities to heritage office conversions — means a one-size PPM schedule rarely works. We assess what you have and build something practical rather than applying a template.
Breakdown and Repair
We cover reactive and emergency HVAC callouts across Lincoln and the wider Lincolnshire area, attending heating, cooling and ventilation failures for businesses of all sizes. Our engineers carry commonly needed parts to reduce the number of return visits required and get systems back up as quickly as possible.
We take on callout work for both contract customers and businesses contacting us for the first time. Call 01904 630414 and we’ll be upfront about how quickly an engineer can reach you.
Commercial Heating
We supply, install and service commercial gas boilers, heat pumps and full heating systems for businesses across Lincoln and Lincolnshire. All gas work is completed by Gas Safe registered engineers, and we manage projects from initial design through to commissioning and handover.
Lincolnshire’s flat, exposed geography means buildings can be harder to heat efficiently than those in more sheltered urban areas. If your heating costs are higher than expected or your plant is ageing, a site survey can identify quickly whether an upgrade or replacement makes financial sense.
Air Conditioning
We install and maintain commercial VRF, split and multi-split air conditioning systems for businesses across Lincoln, covering offices, retail premises, healthcare facilities and industrial buildings. We carry out a building survey before specifying any system, so the solution we recommend is appropriate for the space and how it operates.
All refrigerant handling is carried out by REFCOM certified engineers in line with current F-Gas regulations. We offer annual servicing and ongoing maintenance once a system is commissioned.
Ventilation
We design and install MEV, MVHR and commercial ventilation systems for businesses across Lincoln and Lincolnshire, working across offices, food production and processing facilities, healthcare premises and retail environments. We also carry out servicing and filter maintenance on existing installations where performance has declined.
Food production and agri-food businesses in Lincolnshire often have specific ventilation requirements around temperature control, humidity and hygiene. Our engineers are experienced in designing and maintaining ventilation systems for these environments, not just standard office and retail applications.
Mechanical Installation
We take on mechanical installation projects across Lincoln and Lincolnshire, handling the full scope from design and BIM coordination through to on-site installation and commissioning. We work on new build and refurbishment schemes and can operate as principal mechanical contractor or as part of a wider construction team.
Lincoln has a mix of modern commercial development and significant heritage building stock, and our engineers are experienced across both. We understand the particular requirements that come with listed buildings and conservation area constraints, and can advise on appropriate solutions from the outset.
TM44 Inspections
Commercial buildings in Lincoln with air conditioning systems totalling 12kW or more in combined cooling output are legally required to hold a valid TM44 inspection report, renewed every five years under the Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations. We carry out TM44 inspections across Lincoln and Lincolnshire and provide the completed report and all documentation on the day.
If you manage multiple properties across the county and aren’t sure which sites have current certificates, we can help you audit that and bring everything up to date. Letting a report lapse can result in a penalty from the local authority.
Serving Lincoln Businesses
Lincoln is the county town of Lincolnshire and has a commercial economy that combines a strong public sector and higher education base with significant food and agri-food processing, engineering and logistics activity. The city also has a substantial heritage and tourism economy centred on the cathedral quarter and castle, which generates demand for HVAC in hospitality, retail and leisure premises. Lincoln’s position as the largest urban centre in a predominantly rural county means it serves a wide catchment of businesses across the surrounding area.
The Lincoln Science and Innovation Park on Beevor Street, adjacent to the University of Lincoln campus, has brought technology, research and professional services occupiers to the city, creating demand for modern HVAC installations and ongoing maintenance contracts. The wider Waterside development corridor running along the River Witham has added office, leisure and retail stock to the city centre, and the Tritton Road commercial and retail corridor to the west of the city houses a range of trade, warehouse and industrial occupiers generating consistent HVAC service demand.
Lincoln’s NHS and education presence is significant. United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which operates Lincoln County Hospital on Greetwell Road, is one of the major sources of planned maintenance and TM44 compliance work in the area. The University of Lincoln manages a large Brayford Pool waterfront campus with ongoing requirements for HVAC servicing, air conditioning maintenance and statutory inspections across its academic, research and student accommodation buildings.

HVAC FAQs for Lincoln Businesses
What sectors do you work with in Lincoln and Lincolnshire?
Our work across Lincoln and the county covers a broad range of sectors. In the city we work with NHS and healthcare premises, the university estate, professional offices and hospitality venues. Across the wider county we take on a significant amount of food production, logistics and agricultural processing work, alongside retail, trade and light industrial premises. If you’re unsure whether your building type is something we cover, call us and we’ll tell you straight.
How far in advance do I need to book a maintenance visit?
It depends on the time of year and how many sites we’re managing in the area at the time. For planned maintenance we’d typically ask for a few weeks notice to schedule efficiently, though we can often turn things around faster than that. For compliance-driven visits — TM44 inspections or pre-lease checks — if you have a deadline, let us know and we’ll work to it. Emergency callouts are a different matter entirely; for those, call and we’ll respond as quickly as we can.
What happens if my HVAC system breaks down outside of business hours?
We can arrange out-of-hours callout cover for contract customers who need it. If this is something your business requires, it’s worth discussing at the point you take out a contract so we can structure the agreement accordingly. For businesses without a contract in place, call 01904 630414 and we’ll do what we can, though response times for non-contract customers outside of standard hours will vary depending on engineer availability.
How do I get in touch about HVAC work in Lincoln?
Call us on 01904 630414 and we can discuss your requirements and arrange a site visit. For larger or more complex jobs, a survey is usually the best starting point before we commit to a quote. You can also use our contact form and we’ll get back to you within one business day.
